Got PPR. But visa stamping outside Canada

Guys I got a Information Letter requesting Passport, Bio data and 2 photos. Looks like PPR is here!!!!!!

Only problem, I am in India and need to email them that I cannot send passport to ottawa.

Anyone face similar situation? How quick do they respond?

Either take a ticket and come back or send passport via FedEx or Dhl express courier

They usually reply within 2-4 days

I wonder what your timelines wer.. I have got ppr in exactly 2 months from date of submission of documents . For 1 month 3 weeks nothing happened.. And within one week:

Changed ecas status to in process
Background check in progress
Ppr

Indian passport holders cannot courier passports overseas. So I am hoping if they ask me to get the stamp New Delhi Embassy.

I am from India and I Zant submit my passport yet as well as it has g9ne for work permit stamping..

I got work permit as well as PR ita together.. But now I am in a soup.. Passport would return next week and for work, I have to travel to canada on 8th July .. Do you think I would get my passport back with me in time if I send them next week?

If you send it with a cover letter outlining your confirmed travel plans and ask them to kindly return it by a particular day, you should be able to get it back. I know that someone did that for the visa office in Jamaica and they sent it back by the time she asked.
