Got passport request from New Delhi High Commission of Canada

hey guys
I m new to this forum

This is my status of the Sponsorship Application

1) Application Received - May25th, 2013
2) Approval of Sponsorship - june17th, 2013
3) Passport Request from New Delhi High Commission, july 7th, 2013
4) Send Passport - july 8th, 2013
5) Passport Delivered New Delhi office - waiting


1) is it a good news? if it is then when should we expect the VISA stamped on my Passport?

Timeline for my sponsorship application is same as yours. Have you guys received your passports back? If yes, how long did it take to get them back?

I am submit my passport in November 2013 and still waiting

Hi everyone
My wife and I got married in feb 2013.she is from Canada. She stays till June 2013 in India and in July 2013 she applied for my sponsorship. In august we received letter for submission of passport.
I submitted my passport in November. And now whenever we check status online it appears as medical results received. Can anyone tell me more about this process please. How long it usually takes to get visa?
