AFTER the oath you can send a request to the PR department to cancel your application because you became a citizen. https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx 2. You can ask a clerk DURING the citizenship ceremony to send a message to the PR department that you became a citizen. Reactions: bellaluna
