I am giving some details..
I applied on 4 Feb 2013 with Following Documents in VFS Canada Centre Bangalorei
1. Acceptance Letter (Unconditional with CAD 20000 Scholarship for PhD Engineering Sciences in Simon Fraser University British Columbia)
2. Admission Letter from the same
3. Visa Application Form
4. Family Information Form
5. Masters and Bachelors Degree and Marksheets
6. Employers Letter
7. Form 16
8. IT Return
9. Student Questionnaire Form
10. Visa Fees

On 11 Feb 2013 I received Medical Form From High Commission New Delhi
I Got my Medical Done on 16 Feb 2013
and Finally Today I receive my Email from CHC about the approval of VISA
SO it took 4 weeks to get Visa..

congrats poovannact , best of luck for the future . i am suprised to see that CHC sending email if visa is approved . I thought we dont know whether our visa is approved or not until we open the package ..



BTW POOVANNACT please change the year in VISA ISSUED...: 04/03/2012 to 2013

Congrats first of all. I too received an approval email form CHC stating that my application has been approved. I am happy in this case, but m worried in the other way. Myself and my wife filed our application on the same date, my wife applying for TRV. We received medical call on the same date and we sent our medicals on the same day. Now I have received an email of approval but my wife hasn't. Does this necessarily mean that she has been denied the Temporary Resident Visa or is it possible the visa be stamped in her passport but they havenot sent visa approval email? What do you think, this type of approval email is sent to the TRV class of applicants or not? Please share if you have any idea.

Both of our passports has been dispached form Delhi and They are in transit at the moment. So i dont think she will get the approval email. I was thinking if we could see her visa stamped without approval email. Is it possible man?
