Hey Guys!
Finally I am Very Happy today after receiving my Canadian student VISA approved. Applied from vfs chennai on 3rd july, Passport dispatched yesterday, got it today.
My Hearty thanks to all members of the forum specially guys like inam, tiger etc, Thank you brothers for your quick replies to all the questions over here.
I will just share my profile and experiences and hope it will be useful for others.
10th = 93%
12th = 94%
BE, Computer Science engineering = 8.6
( I am a 2012 passed out, so I submitted my final semester result attested by my principal, I have even seen some people getting visa without the last
semester marklist, I guess this should clear the doubt among all the final semester students applying for visa)
toefl - 96, din't write IELTS ( this is yet another ambiguity among many)
I got admit in University of new Brunswick, fredericton for Masters in Computer Science.
FINANCIALS
my one year Fee + accomodation comes around 22k CAD ( 11 lakh approx)
I took a loan from FD of 24k CAD ( Rs. 12.75 lakhs)
and Rs. 7 lakhs of liquid cash ( i dint have my liquid cash stable for four months and all( but it is recommended to keep it stable), I guess Loan should have convinced the VO)
Moreover for students in india, Education loan is a big problem, Credila may have helped some but i dont recommend it, as i had some bitter experiences with them.
If you are planning for higher studies, try to have some good contact with some Nationalized bank people, so that it may help you during Loan process.
My dad is a retired government official, I attached his pension book and also house rental agreements for source income around 3.6 lakh, dint submit ITRS.
Along with this I submitted the property evaluation report of a vacant land under my name.
I would also recomment to notarize all the documents, since it adds more credibility.
Totally Excited!!!
