Got my visa but i didnt receive any type of approval mail

I have received my passport with the visa stamp but i still didnt recieve the approval mail on my online account or with the passport or on my email id.
Is there any similar case like this where you dont get the approval mail.
And
Is the mail mandatory for the travel ?

GOt approval in online account but no e-mail.

Qctually thats the troubling part.
On my online account it's still displaying that it is under process and they are yet to make a final decision but i already received my passport.

Same here received passport with visa stamp but no approval mail or message in CIC account
