Got my visa approved after 500+ days before my course ends | Can I travel?

So I applied for my study permit last year in March 2020 and my application got delayed for almost 17 months. I deferred my course to September 2020 and had to start online classes hoping I will get the visa approved in time. But because of second wave in India it got delayed more.
My course ends on 20th August, I have not yet got the visa stamped, already couriered it. My question is, can I travel to Canada once I get my visa stamped? Also, I have a LOA for another course that starts in September with fees paid.

I will need a study permit for the new course but if I can enter and get a study permit for my current course I can extend it for the second course.
As per IRCC rules, study permit is given for course duration + 3 months. So in my case I should get a study permit when I reach there. But I am confused if it will work like this.
