i got my Copr from Edmonton Alberta after getting my AINP and I went to the border in bc to do the flag pole. I came back from India on 24 July 2018 to Vernon BC to my sister after getting my COPR. So when I went to do the flag pole the officer asked me where do I work and I told him I work somewhere in Vernon and I don’t know what he understand from that and he called the AINP office and got my AINp cancelled and he didn’t give my PR now I don’t have my AINP and I think I’m not gonna get the PR too and my work permit is also expiring in a month. Can anyone help me with my options here ? On my file I changed my mailing address to Vernon as I wanted all my docs to be delivered at my sisters address. Please help me what can I do now

So just to clarify you were nominated by Alberta but you told CBSA that you worked in Vernon BC and you also had your mailing address as Vernon BC so the officer may have assumed you were probably only intending to be in BC despite being nominated by Alberta ? As an Alberta nominee why would you not land in Alberta first to activate your PR given your nomination there and once landed as a PR you could live and work anywhere ?

This is why your PR was refused. You made a commitment to Alberta in support of your AINP to settle there. You taking a job outside Alberta indicated that you committed misrepresentation in order to obtain the provincial nomination. Things do not look good for you. I suspect that your PR will be cancelled and you may even be banned for misrepresentation. Time to get a competent immigration lawyer involved.

If the AINP nomination has been canceled then your COPR is no longer valid and you are not going to get PR. You should have remained in Alberta until after landing and becoming a PR.

You will have to qualify and apply for PR from scratch. Since you are now working in BC, applying through AINP is no longer an option.

I don't see any options for easily extending your work permit. If you want to remain in Canada after your work permit expires, you should apply soon to change your status to visitor. Of course you will have to stop working as soon as your work permit expires.

If you want to try to fight the cancellation of your COPR, you will need to hire a lawyer. Hard to say if that will be successful or not.

Is it for sure that he is actually going to Bann me for 5 years because if not I have the option of applying for express entry as I have 2 years experience and have everything ready to go for it . I also checked my score it’s 482 . I know I have done a huge mistake but I can’t go back now.

Nobody can answer that except IRCC and/or CBSA. You should consider getting an Express Entry process under way, just in case they don't ban you.

Sorry about what happened. Hope you get it sorted out soon.
I have a question though if your score is 482 without ainp. why did you care about taking ainp?

Because it was going to take the same time for my ainp as well as it was for express entry. Is there anything you know I should do to save my self. The experience for 2 years was just completed in oct 2017 and by adding that it got to 482

There is nothing you can do at this point. Since you obviously committed misrepresentation, IRCC can ban you for 5 years. Even if you were allowed to reapply under EE, i would think IRCC will take time to process with your application.

I didn’t do it on purpose I was in depression all the time that is why I have been to India 2 times within 6 months and that’s why I came to my sister because I don’t have anyone in Canada other than her to support me.

Well you should have applied for BC PNP. Why did you applied for AINP in the first place. I would assume BC PNP is alot easier to obtain than AINP since BC PNP just needs a job offer whereas AINP needs you to work for 6 months first before applying.

You can certainly apply, if you are eligible. What sort of work permit do you currently have?
