i received medical request papers thru my consultancy. but now we blessed a little angel. i know they will kept it pending meanwhile i m preparing all the documents for baby. i want to ask that how much time it will take again

Congrats.. Now your new angel need to accompany you for the medical too... Better inform your VO with the suggested docs of the new one and wait for further instructions... All the very best

You will be required to submit the following documents in order to add your new born child to your application apart from :

- a letter explaining how your family composition has changed and requesting that your child be added to your application
- processing fee for the child (if accompanying you to Canada)
- an IMM8 application form and Family Information Form filled in for the child
- updated IMM0008 Generic and updated IMM5406 “Additional Family Information” form for yourself and your spouse
- ORIGINAL child's birth certificate
- copy of your child's valid passport BioData Page
- 4-6 photographs of your child according to the specifications

I was advised by my University immigration assistant to follow this procedure to save time, as I am waiting for my baby daughters passport

1) if you have received medical request, go to DMP and ask him if he has extra form, normally they have blank forms in case if they do a mistake then they can fill new one.
2) if they have go ahead with medicals for all the family members
3) It takes approx a month for VO to process medicals, so send all the require docs to add your baby.

This may save you time, I may follow the same process. My file is in process since Tuesday.

If your VO is New Dehli, then probably around 3 months.
