Got Medical Request - Have a question

Hello Everyone,


I got my med request yesterday but have an issue. I am currently in Canada but my spouse is in india. Is it possible that she does her medical in india and I do mine in canada? becasue she will not be coming back to canada until at least a month, which is still within the CIC 60 days deadline, but it will just delay my application. Can anyone tell me if they have had same situation and if it can be done? will there be any issue later? Both doctors in india and canada are emed certified.

Yes you can as long as both are emedicals..one of my frn did same. I know only one case though

when you do eMed does the results have to be emailed/sent to a particular address? because I am afraid that the meds done in India may be mistakenly sent to Singapore or another office instead of Ottawa where my case is being processed.

yes. she can do her emedical in india, but make sure to
give right application file number, visa office

Is she going to do Med in India or Bangladesh??? I have done my med from Bangladesh and I was told by my Dr. that all med report now gets submitted through online and the report goes to Manilla,Philippines. But it does not matter where the report goes as long as it gets submitted through online...I sent an email to CPP right after my med and they confirmed me that they have received it online properly...now it's your call..Good Luck

Emedicals servers are in located in Australia.
Its connected over Internet so doesn't matter where the information is, Ottawa guys access it from there,,

That sounds reassuring So in conclusion the medical results don't have to be sent to any particular visa office? All you have to do is just inform CEC that it was done in another contry?

you don't even need to inform CIC, that's why CIC has a list of certified/trusted doctors from where you can get your medicals done in all countries.
Doctors send your reports themselves.
