Got Medical request for PR for my parents?

Hello,

My parents got the request for Medical. My father is in India so he will get the medical done there.

My query is is my mother is with me in Canada since September 2017. I got her visitor visa extended till May 2018. For the the extension she went through the medical in December 2017. My queries are

1) She has to go for medical again(since medical exam has a validity of 1 year)? if yes
2) Can she go for her medical here in Canada for the PR?

Hi, you can submit the same medical from December 2017 for your mom. It is the exact same exam, she does not need to do it twice. You can reach out to the panel physician and they should be able to submit it for you

Hi, I am wondering about the following:
1. How long does it take after the medical examination for Indian citizens? Does it vary on case to case basis?
2. For our PR application, will the whole family get the PR at the same time or is it possible that one of the dependent will get it before the rest?
3. will the sending medical by e-system processed faster than the paper copy?
4. what kind of documents could be required after the medical?
