Got Job offer, Need suggestion

I landed in Canada 3 months back and got a permanent job offer with one of top 3 banks . The location is Burnaby, BC. It's $65K plus bonus that would come to around 70K. Considering the cost of living in Burnaby, is it a good offer. I have 10 years of relevant exp and needless to say that I do not have any Canadian exp. please suggest.

Also, I am searching for 1 BR condo. what are good areas for family and what is the average rental please.

Have you got any other offers and do you need to work? The answer then becomes pretty simple.

Have a look at some of the recruitment web sites and they will have salary surveys, these aren't by any means spot on but it will give you a general idea.

What type of banking are you in retail, corporate or investment banking and which department. Really annoys me when people are low balled because they lack Canadian experience. The only area this makes a difference is Relationship Management. All other skills sets are transferable.

How did you even get them to consider your app. All of the online apps are going into the sink hole. Did you know anyone at the bank? Needless to mention I would def. go for it.

which country you from? and how much banking experience? i am also in banking and before you i see many people in banking field got jobs quickly

I fail to see your problem. If they want to give you the job and you are keen, take it.
