Hi,

In order to safely move forward to next step while completing Post ITA forms, please guide.

(a) After filling all post ITA forms in Express entry profile the next step will be documents uploading checklist or the form where we can upload our documents. Am I correct?

(b) Can we come back/access and edit any info in our forms at the point of / from documents uploading checklist?

Thanks.

get PCC through Passport Office. That is safest one..
Ok...will this only suffice the CIC requirement?

In my case,as I am not currently residing in my hometown,do I need to get the PCC from the city where I am presently working in?

I'm not 100% certain on what you are asking, however:

Once you have your ITA you are required to input more information to build your profile.

The next section is document upload which is based on your answers from the first section.

You can move between both sections and make changes until you fully submit the application.

Hope this is what you were after.

PCC isn't city-specific. It's for the entire country.

Hi,

Have another set of questions.

1) My wife is arranging for her experience letters from respective employers (she teaches at school). She had been on a medical leave for 2 months due to broken leg.During that period, she was entitled to a lesser amount of her monthly salary (owing to some internal adjustments with her annual leaves).1

Does she need to mention her medical leave while filling in the employment details in express entry? Her pay slips of last 4 months, however reflect the regular salary. For how many months does she need to show her payslips?

2) We have applied for the PCCs for both my wife and myself. While she is residing at her hometown, currently I am at a different city owing to my job requirements. We had a word with the local police department and they had given a hint that the above might not create any problem if we are able to show to them all the original documents pertaining to us and our family members are physically present during their visit. However,in my physical absence, the PCC may not contain my photograph on it.

My question is that whether a PCC without a photograph of the candidate may create any problem in the visa process?

Regards,

If the school reference letter makes no mention of this leave, there is no need to mention this anywhere in the application. CIC doesn't ask for pay slips.

Unlikely. PCC has other unique information that can be used to validate the applicant. However, there have been refusals because of PCCs in the recent past. All of them are Indian or Pakistani applicants. And the reason being that the PCC issued by provincial police authorities doesn't appear to cover the entire duration of the applicant's stay in the country. In other words, they are time-bound or geography-bound or both. Check the 'rejections' thread for more information before proceeding with this. Recommend that you obtain PCC from Indian passport authorities.

Thanks Asivad...

Would request your advice once again,in the following matter related to proof of funds.

1) My wife is the primary applicant. Regarding showing of funds, can she show three (3) joint Fixed Deposit (FD) accounts which she has with her grandmother and one (1) with her mother? Does she need any letter of 'no-objection' from them? Is there any affidavit needed on any legal document (stamp paper or so)?

2) Two of the above FDs were done 2 weeks before from this date.will this create any problem?

3) Are scans of FDs enough or does she need to take separate statements from banks?

4) Can she show my (spouse and secondary applicant) bank accounts so as to support her proof of funds? Will that be counted as her funds even if she is not a join holder in those accounts)?

No legal document required. 'No objection' letter would suffice.

2) Two of the above FDs were done 2 weeks before from this date.will this create any problem?

Yes. CIC will want to know source of those funds.

3) Are scans of FDs enough or does she need to take separate statements from banks?

Bank letter will be required in addition to scan of FDs.

4) Can she show my (spouse and secondary applicant) bank accounts so as to support her proof of funds? Will that be counted as her funds even if she is not a join holder in those accounts)?

Probably Yes. Provinces appear to accept this even though CIC asks for POF only from the PA. Recommend adding her as Joint account holder.

Thanks a lot Asivad.

Regarding point no 2, in order to suffice the need to show the ''proof of funds'',can she show a letter from the person from whom she might have got the fund? will that be okay?

Regarding point no 4, you mean to say that I can add her name as a joint account holder.right? well,I have a property on my name..will that be of any help ??

I had a query regarding attaching educational documents while filling up Express Entry details. We have the ECA reports from WES. Do we need to attach our academic docs alomgwith WES report? Are all those documents required?

Also,as I am the secondary applicant, as advised by you before, I am attaching only the basic details related to my employment at different companies (like reference letter-wherever available, pay stubs of 2-3 months, appointment letter--in case of my most current job). I guess, this will be fine...what you say?

Needs to be a gift letter, cannot be borrowed funds.

Yes. Having a property won't help unless you sell it and deposit the proceeds into your bank account.

No harm in uploading a merged PDF containing your ECA and degree copies. I imagine CIC asks only for degree/diploma copies.

Also,as I am the secondary applicant, as advised by you before, I am attaching only the basic details related to my employment at different companies (like reference letter-wherever available, pay stubs of 2-3 months, appointment letter--in case of my most current job). If none of your work experience was inside Canada, Yes. You can choose to completely remove your employment history from this application.

Hi Asivad,

Need your help and expert advice once again, regarding the proof of funds. My wife is the primary applicant and she has collected the following documents for uploading on CIC site, against proof of funds. Pls suggest whether these would be sufficient enough to suffice the requirement.

1) 3 different Fixed Deposit certificates from bank, amounting to of Rs...XXX, where she is a joint holder alongwith her grandma. A bank letter is attached to the same.
2) A legal notarized affidavit for the above, where her grandma has declared that she has no objection if the entire amount of money ,as mentioned, is used for immigration or any other use as & when required.

3) 1 Fixed Deposit certificate from bank, amounting to of Rs...XXX, where she is a joint holder alongwith her mother.A bank letter is attached to the same
4) A legal notarized affidavit for the above, where her mother has declared that she has no objection if the entire amount of money ,as mentioned, is used for immigration or any other use as & when required.

5) 1 Fixed Deposit certificate from bank, amounting to of Rs...XXX, where she is the sole holder of the certificate.
Also a bank letter & bank statement are attached to the same.
6) A legal notarized affidavit for the above, where her father-in-law has declared that he has given the amount (as mentioned in the above Fixed deposit certificate) as gift (via a mentioned cheque) for her own use and need ,as & when required and it is not a loan.

Thanks & regards,
