If you actually have a job offer and not LMIA, that's correct. Not every person is required to get LMIA (open work permits, postgrad, etc.) I did the same - put that I have a job offer but not LMIA so I don't get 600 point for an eligible job offer

Thank you. I actually said to no this answer because when I selected yes, the application was asking for job offer letter which basically is not there. I selected currently working in Canada and it just asks for the job verification letter.

Regarding the inclusion of family member,my wife's mother had legally married her step father. So in that case, can my wife completely skip mentioning her biological father's name from the application? If the same still features on her degree certificates and all, will that create any problem in future?
i am not an expert, but I wondered if your wife was legally adopted by her stepfather. If not, then wouldn't her biological father still be included in the list of immediate family. This may be part of security screening as well, I don't know.

Hi, my husband has a full time bachelor degree education.
However while he studies that he also was working full time as the lectures were concentrated on the weekend and in the evening every other day.
He has an ECA for that.

My question is how should I list this in the activities list?
He is working since 2003 to current and took his higher degree during his working period.
I have no clue how to add that.

Any suggestions?

You can list overlapping dates for the personal history section no problem.

Oh .. so it was an easy one. I didnt know you can do that. Thanks

Can anyone please share the LOE format here, I need to show my old Quebec file info there.

Hi Asivad and my other friends on Canadavisa forum,

I have an important query regarding the Police clearance Certificate (PCC).

I am presently residing in an Indian city other than my hometown (Kolkata) ,owing to job change and relocation. Before that I had stayed for more than a decade at my hometown. My wife is still there at Kolkata and would join me after few months.

While getting a PCC might not be a problem for her, I am bit concerned about how to get one for me, considering my recent relocation.

Do I need to contact a local police station at Kolkata,to get a PCC from them? Will that be enough for submitting to CIC or do I also need a Clearance certificate from the regional passport office at my present city (where I am working in)? Are both these docs required or will any one of them serve the purpose?

Kindly advise on an urgent basis,as we have got less than 60 days to get the work done.

Regards,
