To qualify you need 52 weeks of full time hours. IRCC define full time as 30 hours or more per week. So you need 52 x 30 =1560 hours as IRCC only count a maximum of 30 hours per week. Most jobs accumulate 4% of wages as holiday pay which is either paid at the end of the job or as a lump sum to take your anual leave. So IRCC will count up to 2 weeks of holiday towards your 52 weeks. That would be 60 hours towards the 1560 total. So if you have worked a full year without actual holidays they would count 54 weeks experience. Most people aim for a couple of weeks extra but you should be OK setting up your profile on 27th as Vessela suggested. Good luck with the ITA.I have salaried job. And I just took one day off in year and it was paid.
so you are telling if someone do not get paid holidays and if he didn’t take any holiday than 50 weeks is one year?
