Today received e mail from delhi office to send passports (old as well as current) for visa stamping.

Please send RPRF along with the applications to the visa office along with the summary of foreign travels. stayed in US for about 5 months (6 months not completed) but still included FBI clearance certificate.

thats really fast on part of CHC new delhi. they should also expedite the old cases.

Thats a very interesting question.I will explain in detail.I am CA and was not sure what points I will get for my education so I calculated 22 points for my education.Wrote IELTS but got less and was falling short of 67 points.Since I was based at Delhi I approached one of the leading immigration consultants (name withheld).They explained briefly but were not sure or didnt want to tell me points for education.I was told their so called experts will take care of it .I insisted that if you can tell me the points for education then I will be assured that my current IELTS will do and i need not write again.But I was told to pay first then discuss these "legal" things.I met so called expert also and while discussing I was able to make out that this expert has never been to canada.Ghost.............
I saw another advertisement in the newspaper of another consultant (I am withholding his name also and dont want to advertise in this forum) , fixed an appointment and explained him.He told that he is not a member of some cisc or something like that but told that legally as per canadian law he can assist and advise in preparation of the application before submitting to the sydney office but not afterwards .He will assist but not represent.All these he will do before submitting.He was explaining many technalities but i was not keen to go in detail.He explained entire procedure, assisted in preparation of folders and guided in getting relevant documents.To me it seemed very methodical.He prepared 2 envelopes and gave to me.One with application set was sent to sydney office through DHL courier services and another set with all relevant documents like application forms ,employment certificates,ielts,pcc,fund statement etc etc were sealed and kept ready.Moment I got confirmation from sydney office , I took print out of that e mail and included in second envelope and dispatched it to delhi office.
I was actually fortunate to get good services and saved big sum.It was one fourth of what other awful cisc guy was asking.
Monday I will be sending passport.

MR.Sanjeev, what is your currrent status, do u got the PR visa or still under porcess.And as along as the question of getting job before reaching there it is not such a easy job. Yes, you can apply online but in most of the cases they ask for whether you are PR or citizen of canada and you hold valid work permit, when you can start the work, your references.There are a number of other things. So what i think that let us complete the first step and then will worry about the second one. No doubt as a prudent person one should always think one step ahead than the others. So, Best of luck and continue to try. May almighty help you.Please also post something about your PR case so that it can help the memebers and particularly to the CA community.
