@Raman:When did u apply ur Visa? For FD you can say we sell our property, and open FD against that money..

Raman,

You can convince them that your relative have provided you the money for FD coz of your good family relations. But keep one thing in mind dont lie in the interview just put the facts and explain yourself in best way and you will surely get the Visa

Hardeep

Hey raman

you would need to provide them with the documentation thats why they have called you for an interview otherwise they could have called you up to know/ask about the funds.

I am assuming you got all the FD money from your relatives in the form of cash..was it ? or you were given a cheque and you deposited in the a/c ? if it was a cheque and the money provider is a close relative of yours then you can always try and get a letter from him/her stating they would like to see you better qualified and want to help financially being your ______________ (whatever your relation is),, it still doesnt make much of a difference but better than nothing.

P.S - only do it if you got the money through cheque given by ur relative (though you can prove cash payment but it aint easy) and that relative must be somewhat close in relation.

All the best buddy

What does your parents do ? businees or salaried ? kindly Tell me the same you have mentioned in the form submitted to the embassy?

maybe you can relate the cash received to their profession or if your sister and uncle withdrew the cash from their bank accounts then show their statements + get the letter frm them (just as i told previously)..

P.S - Buddy these things aren;t a solid solution but may help (so consider me nothing but a friend trying to help :) )

my father is farmer.we hav land which gives us income of about 4 laks per annum.my uncle who gave us money is also farmer.but my brother is in australia on student visa since one year.he sent nearabout 3 laks in two shifts into my account in last 8 months.that money we withdrew immedietaly after four five days.and moreove they are asking for source of fee paid.that we can show that we have taken this money from the firm where we sold our crop.but the problem is with Fd.we hav shown land worth 80 laks.and 8 lakh loan, nothing else.

you said embassy has asked about the source you have paid fees from so now the question is did you not pay your fees out of 8 lac education loan you took ? you also said you withdrew the amount sent by your brother.. am sure you withdrew the cash back then and now you can explain to embassy that you withdrew that amount and gave to your relative who were in need at that time..and later he returned your money so thats how you got it.. and belive me it could be put across as genuine reason...know we all do this in real.. we all lend and borrow money from our relatives at some point in life..

rest you know the whole scenario in a much better way than everybody else so i hope you will use your own discretion mate.. 8)

All the best

Hi Raman! 2 weeks ago I had quite similar inquiry - I was asked to provide bank statements of my parents. (Although i submitted with my study permit application bank statements with funds which cover my living and tuition expenses for 2 out of 3 years of studies). And my parents just didn't have normal bank statements, since their money was transferred into my banking accounts before i applied for visa. I got my visa denied yesterday, they said that i wont be able to pay for my studies... So what i want to say - u must convince consulate officers that u have constant and stable income. I think that's what they want to see. Best of luck to u man.
