Got interview, need help

Please I need a help here,I was called for interview next week Tuesday ,but I'm not very prepared ,I don't have my original marriage certificate they ask of me at hand now,if I ask them postponed the interview will it make them to refused me? Or will it make my application to take a very long time again? I was only given 6 days to interview date?

I would still go to the interview and just let them know that you are waiting for the marriage certificate. Is it something you can get in a few weeks? The worst is the they postpone visa approval until they have it. Might look bad to ask for a reschedule.

Can't say about other countries but in the US you can go down to a city clerks office and get a marriage certificate printed out same day from a Kisosk if you're in the system...I suspect if you have a interview you're probably also not from the US. Did they specifically ask for the original marriage certificate? They are usually okay with photocopies, unless they have reason to suspect that it might have been tampered with, or a forgery. Good luck with the interview.

it shouldn't be a problem , is that the norm in your country ? I don'y think you need to be in Panic , just go and be in your best high self esteem . don't worry and give them the docs they need and explain any issues and be positive . interview is your chance to clear any doubts or concerns they have .
