Got GIC but wrong address mentioned

I m in deep trouble. Wednesday I got my GIC certificate but when I open it and found that they have mentioned name of state as PUNJAB but my state is HIMACHAL PRADESH. I have put a email at new account@ GIC and I also called them and they said that it will take 5 working days I am very tensed. First I was waiting for GIC and when I got it than for rectification. Pls suggest me should I wait or apply with that certificate for visa.

@ lakesh6, What is the status of your GIC???
 
They have sent me a mail in secure account telling that the correction has been done and updated.they also told that there is no need to send a new GIC because funds are already in ur account. And told me to attach this confirmation email copy along with my GIC certificate which is enough for visa filing. I am going to file visa on Monday 2 nd of June.

bro how much time did they take to issue gic after you transferred the amount

Dears, please guide me that what is GIC, its purpose and how it can be proceed?
 
GIC is a proof that u have funds for ur living and other expenses throughout the year. And it will be given back to u on ur arrival in canada in equal instalments.
 
i got my gic but my house number and pincode is not correct ......whats the procedure to change it and how much time this process will take?

Hello sir recently i recived my gic detail but the problem is there is ome correction in adress and that is im from navsari but in that the agent written surat instead navsari so my agent send for correction so i want to know that how much time it takes to resolve adress correction? plzz tell me anyone
