hello everyone, so i have finally received an official approval.

timeline:
applied on 17th March (paper based)
BVL on 17th May,
AIP on 24th August.
final approval: 18th October
Program: 3 years bachelor in arts on English literature at the university of winnipeg.

however, the visa counterfoil I've been provided will expire 6 months before the end of my study because the visa counterfoil was stamped back in july and is valid until july 2023 and was also approved back then according to my gcms notes. will i be able to extend it given the grounds of delays caused by the pandemic?
Approval SS

Visa counterfoil is only for you to enter Canada.
Even if it expires while you are here, not a problem. Your status is decided by having a "Permit" which you get at the border.
I have a valid Study Permit now, but my TRV is expired and that's totally fine :)

So whenever you need to travel in/out of Canada, you need to make sure you have a valid TRV.

Congratulations! Raining approvals today..
