Got eCoPR can I travel?

I got my eCoPR 2 weeks ago and I still have a valid TRV visitor visa for 10 years can I use that to go in and out of the country? I need to travel for an emergency this weekend?

I think that once you become a PR, you need to travel under your passport AND permanent resident card. I know for a fact that this is the case for citizens with passports that don't require a tourist visa to come into Canada.

If you don't have the card yet, then you would need to apply for a Permanent Resident Travel Document once you are out of Canada.

What is the best way to track the PR card mailing? The portal hasn't updated to show it's approved. Still shows that picture is pending approval but I can download eCOPR. It's been 3 weeks since I got eCOPR and I live in Toronto
