Got Confused please help regarding Extension of Student Visa & Study Permit

Hi frds,

I am Post-Graduate studying in Canada. I have applied for 2yr program but unfortunately I got wrong date on Student Visa (instead of 2yr i got only 1 yr). Considering Student Visa I got Study permit also valid to the same date on student visa. So, my doubt is when can I apply for extension for student visa and student permit??? my date expires on MAR 30 2013(Student visa & Student Permit). I am going to India thz nov and will be back in jan 25th. So, when can I apply for it and which one I have to apply first.


When I look into the Immigration Site it says 48 days to processing for study permit, and what about student visa extension? can I apply both from India. Will my time efficient to apply after coming here o Jan25th??

1. Not a wrong date, you are a border-line case, just survived a visa refusal.
2. Apply 2 months before (in January) the expiry of study "permit".
3. Apply inside Canada, but have choice to apply from India as well.

so when can i apply for student visa?? i'll apply for study permit in jan 25th...
