Got Call frm CHC ND

Hi, everyone,

My Employer ( Principal ) had got a call at his cell num.frn CHC Nd, yesterday as i was informed today at the college,
But quite confused what will happen.....?

according to my principal conversation was so short.......

see:

Visa officer introduced himself with his name( An Indian Name) and told that he was calling from CHC ND

VO: Sir, Do you know Mr. ....................?

( Principal sir took few seconds to remember me)

Principal: yes, he is one of the employee at my institution.
VO : Okey.
Principal sir: Anything further......?
VO: Its enough for now sir. Thank you for your response.

(Call off)

Now, as my principal was taking few seconds to remember me, as we are almost 75 Faculty members at his college, will it create any doubts/negative empact to the Visa officer on my case?

It is perfectly ok.

You have only 75 faculty members, some companies have thousands of employees and they may take more time to respond after checking records in computer, so it is normal

I also feel that taking some time with a pause to remember the name of any employee by any employer may not give the negative message. If so VO could call me too.....

so lets hope that I may get medicals soon.....Now I am feeling that though CHC is taking long time for some cases like mine they r not sleeping rather things are going on according to their own system.

As others said, there's nothing to worry about call but, there is something for you to worry about is time.... I don't understand y they did verification call so late?

As others said, there's nothing to worry about call but, there is something for you to worry about is time.... I don't understand y they did verification call so late?

There is a delay due to submission of additional document in this case... I think with additional docs the verification call is well in time.

No Prashant this is not a case... Even if some one calls @ CHC ND and asked about ND staff to VO... Even VO will take time to remember... So nothing to worry..

The V/O just had that doubt and he got the answer which he was looking for. In my opinion you should not be worried and it is a positive step in the processing of you file

Calls are made by local staff on the instructions of visa officer ( Canadian ).

It was a duty call.
CHC ND is continued to be the easy CHC's among all other around the world.

Hi Hiprashant,
You need not worry, i think all will be fine.

There are other cases where the worker had left maybe 3 years ago and the person who received the call is also new to that office. He has to take time to go to their files to look for the name of that employee.

So i think taking some seconds to remember is better than going to the computer or files to look up for the name of the employee.

I don't think CHC Nd is as easier as u have thought. They have very strongly caught the points after their minute observation of all applicants file-information. And they r very much professional in doing so too. We do have lots of examples of such activities. In my case also Rocky, Canadian4you and other seniors who r nearly obverving my situation know that how they r catching the confusions of my file one after another and prociding only with evedince........So I think hasty generalization is not good.
pls correct me if i am wrong.

usually this inquiry would have been made by a Canadian officer in other countries. if it was a Canadian, he would make ellaborate inquiry like confirming the duties you provided with the principal.
And Indian making an inquiry like that would always be lenient on that.
