My turn.....

Can you explain why the TSA are now stamping out (ignoring/killing off) the 1st and the 4th?
Is that a new limited constitution being forced upon the people that makes the USA better than it was before?
The US may have been a superpower, but you have to ask - What happened to freedom :)

Britain is as it was a 1000 years ago and it still is. The US is a creation of the southern movement of the red Indians Americans have their ancestral roots in the UK

Flying on an airplane is not a right, it is a privilege. There are other means of transportation. If you do not like what the TSA does then you do not fly, easy as that.

You say the US was a superpower. Interestingly, we (USA) are the largest economy in the world. We are the most diverse nation in the world, both racially and geographically. We are the leading entertainment industry in the world. We are the number one consumer market in the world. And you never hear people talking of the "British Dream" .... yeah I want to go to Britain and live under a leader who is determined by blood instead of the people! NOT. The British Empire had the greatest military in the world and you were defeated by a colony. What a fail.

Wall street owns much of the world market and the people as well , I agree but even with such a huge economy the Americans are still paying off the debts of their ancestors.

hi

no matter what country , what religion what culture we are from , we are humans after all.

There's no denying that.

about the whole Britain thing being less powerful than the US , I couldn't buy that 8)
I wouldn't completely agree, Britain has a history of stealing, where ever there is war Americans are there to secure the oil depots and Brits follow securing the historic monuments which end up in the British museum or the royal treasury. Its lesser of two evils. Americans love capitalism British love colonialism.

On a different note altogether how did we end up with this conversation lets stick to the original topic gentlemen.

I never claimed a right - I don't fly via the USA; I don't believe that the TSA should do what it does to passengers, and I won't permit anyone to assault me.

Good to know that you are Ok with **"unlawful searches", **"abusing" those with disabilities", **"subjecting millions of people to radiation" etc, etc.
** Words from American citizens, not me.

Yep largest economy, biggest dept per capita and a tanking economy.
Don't get me wrong, I know plenty of great Americans, sadly, many of them are ashamed of what has become of their country

Yes, I am so glad I live in Canada.

Anyway, I have other things to do.... and hockey to watch.
Have a nice day.

A country whose citizens must find faults in the USA to make themselves feel better about where they call home...lol

Ask an American why they are proud to be American, they will list off reason similar to what I did, world leaders, strong military, strong economy (funny how you say it's crumbling, yet it is STILL the best economy in the world and hasn't been in decline since mid-2009), diverse, anyone can be anything if they put effort into it (I know a Russian who moved to Seattle with $40 in his pocket and is now a self-employed millionaire, try that in China, Iraq, Russia, etc), people risk their lives to come here everyday and stay here once they've landed (I don't see many people swimming to Cuba), we are the first responders when there is a natural disaster anywhere in the world ("gee, thanks Britain, but the USA got here three months ago, where have you been"), we are the protectors or democracy.

Ask a Canadian why they are proud to be Canadian, they will list everything that makes them not American. Be proud of your country for what you are, not what you aren't. I remember a Molson commercial that pokes fun and suggests that Canadians were the first on the moon, which is pretty sad that you have to re-write history and make it therefore fake history, to make you feel better about the US having the best space program in the world, and therefore better than yours.

Canada would crumble if a 9/11 type event happened; and your military is such a joke that you would be crying for the US to come fight for your defense, which we would, because there is really no relationship between two countries like Canada and the US. But, if the US didn't come fight for your defense, you would crumble.

I love Canada but get a real kick out of people with an inferiority complex towards the US.

Gap in the hockey...

Ha, ha, that is so entertaining, of course the Americans never rewrite history ! - As a starter read about the enigma machine.
"USA got there three months ago" - History question, when did the USA get into WW2 - answer, late :)
Sadly the USA does not have a great record with regard to armed conflicts.
BTW great healthcare system in the USA.

FYI Canadians don't have an inferiority complex, they are confident in who they are.

And the reason you want an education in Canada is........?
Rest assured, when you are older, you will be wiser and have a good education from Canada.

Back to the hockey...

When did the USA enter World War two? After Canada, a country who was on puppet strings from momma Britain and would have never entered if they were an independent, self-sufficient country.

Great healthcare system in the states? Thank you! I get full coverage to any of the world greatest hospitals (located in the United States) and our capitalist system brings the worlds best doctors here to the States. Have fun waiting eight months for that hip surgery old man!

And every, single, Canadian has an inferiority complex. They feel the need to compare everything to the USA to make themselves feel a bit better. When they can take pride int heir own history and country without saying a word about another country, you may be right...but give Canada three hundred more years and they may have some stuff to be proud about.
