Hi All,
I got admission in University of Toronto for Computer Science (Grad 4 year course) last year in 2010, but didn't applied for the visa because my financial condition was not good at that time, so I deferred my admission to 2011 fall.

This year also nothing has changed much as i see. My parents has got a piece of land which is also in legal conflict, so I cant apply for loan and According to the req. I need 80% of the first year's tuition fee which is ($27000) + 10000 + 1500 minimum for applying for a student permit.

My father can arrange Rs 20,00000 (C$43000) in liquid, Can you guys please suggest what should i do and how to continue for a student permit?

Is it too late to apply for a visa ? I am thinking to apply in Mid-June.

Help will be really appreciated.

hey! I rejected my UofT offer. It's a pretty good uni but its TOO expensive and a bit too nerdish for me. I mean the living costs are very high. I accepted my offer from Queen's. The truth is, if you can't afford it, don't go. Miracles don't happen too often.

With uni's like UofT, waterloo, etc, the course is pretty heavy and even part time work won't cover the cost of rez. It may but it usually doesnt.

Even if you get your visa, do you honestly believe you'll be able to finance your entire 4 year program without starving your family back home? Think about it. and be happy with what you have. maybe there are better options for you at home :)

Cheers!

Dear if u cant bear the cost then i would recommend unis like Uni Alberta and SFU...they r also best in the business with low tuition..
