hello!
I have got accepted in University of Victoria for Masters in engineering.
can anybody tell me about the reputation of Uvic?
Is its engineering program reputable as compared to Regina,Saskatchewan,Manitoba or MUN?

Is it a reputable university as compared to Regina,saskatchewan or Manitoba?
should I apply in Regina,Saskatchewan,Manitoba or MUN or just go to UVic?
 
UVic is a reputed university much like Regina, Saskatchewan etc. Being a mech engineer it depends if you are looking for job in Canada after studies, if yes you must look into which one has better prospects.
UVic is in Victoria BC which has great/best weather compared to anywhere else in Canada...whereas Sask, Regina are extremely cold places - temp drop to -40 in winter.

Just a couple of things to think about and decide.
 
Yup that is what I have been told by many about its weather.
so,would you place UVic above regina,saskatchewan in terms of academic reputation?

All factors considered, UVic is the best among these.

I will go for UVic then rather than wasting money and time on applying to Regina,Saskatchewan etc.
 
What about Concordia University,Ottawa and Dalhousie?
are they better than UVic?should I apply there?
 
i want to apply for m.eng in victoria uni , do i need to find the supervisor before aplyng or they wl asgn it by itself ,
