Hi Felicityben,
Please i would like to see you smile, all is going to be fine. It takes time and since we can not change the things, let wait for the time to come.

Please look at my time line and cheer up. Let me tell you most people are also stuck like you. We all are in the same boat.

I know that everything happens for a reason.

I wish us the best of luck.

Yes, friend that is the reason we are together here in this forum. We have to encourage each other. Yes, how time flies, it will eventually happen. There is nothing that last forever. There is always an end to all journeys. That is what keeps me going.

Like me quote you a small example, when i started writing my Master's thesis, hmmmmm i thought it will never finish. I took a long time, because i was working full time and writing thesis, but at one point in time, i saw myself submitting the final paper. I was so surprised and finally i graduated. Everything that has a beginning , will obviously have an end. It will be positive ending for all of us.

i appreciate your comment/advise, but i had a different case. before i filed my application, i was looking for a country (not necessarily Canada), where me and wife could migrate. It could be Australia, or New Zealand, or U.S., where I have my mom and sister. My consultant advised me to pursue Canada because it is a Fast Track process and my qualifications befits the FSW category, plus the fact that once I get to land in Canada, it will be easier for me to get US Visa. Then I was convinced to apply for Canada. My wife and I have been working abroad for 6 years, trying to save and we are not getting any younger. We applied for migration because we wanted to start a family and the longer it takes, the lesser we get the chance to have a baby, as the Doctor advised us. Now we are stucked. We should have pursued other countries, where there is opportunity for migration. The money that we have saved is also stucked, instead of investing it into other business.I just thought that we are risking too much, when we are not even sure when it going to happen, or if it is going to happen. no one knows. o well, that's life.
Well Felicityben I sympathise with you. Believe me the CIC has ruined many lives by there "wonderful planning" and picking-up files that are received in the end to be processed first. Some people have been waiting for 7 years+ ........ beat that?

Hi, I know what I ggest may not sound right but, if your NOC is still in the list why don't you apply again, no one is stopping you from having multiple applications at the same time and that increases your chance of getting the PR.

My opinion please apply again if you qualify so the file can be taken up earlier.

Hi everyone!!!
We also stuck with the same problem:-(
We began our process in December 2009, sent application directly to Sidney NS, then thinks started moving, my husband got reply within 3 months and we started preparing our papers. In 2010 we were working in Maldives so our file was transferred to Colombo. We even got some info from Colombo too, I was very happy that thinks were going well, BUT!!!!
We had left Maldives and moved to India in the end of 2010. We had requested CHC in Colombo to keep out file there, same was done!
After sending our file to Colombo CHC we simply were waiting for reply, But time was passing and it was no reply from Colombo at all. So my husband sent email, where we had requested confirmation of receiving our file ( as per FEDEX it was delivered and received by CHC one month ago) as it was some original documents in there. So they replied and informed us that they received our file and the letter was sent by mail to our mailing address which was mentioned in our application form.
We never received this letter and requested to sent us copy of the the same letter by email, we never got reply.
Moreover, our mail address changed recently, so a few days ago we sent email to CHC requesting to change our address, so guess what we got as reply???!!! our file could not be found!!!!! It was a big shock for both of us!!! However we still can track our Immigration File number in the website ;-))) where it says "In Process" since November 2010 with our old mail address.
So now I really do not know what to do? Of cause we sent reply to them with more details, with attached copy of our confirmation letter from Sydney. Let see what will happened next!!! Fingers crossed for the good news....
Is any one had same problem as us???

Hi marvick
I also had this problem before..not exactly the same but ya they have lost my documents.
After my medicals ,i sent them my original bank draft for rprf ,my updated forms ,bank statements etc. After sending my package and and checking it on the courier website, delivered,I was waiting for the next step.
After 1-1/2 months ,I got a mail from them mentioning that we haven,t received the required doc, draft etc.
in the given period.I was really shocked and upset to send the doc again.I sent them the photocopy receipt of courier ,scan docs.
After 1 week got reply from them that they had received my file.

i filed from abu dhabi. my consultant says that they haven't received any medicals requests for 3 mos. now, for all their applicants. i dont know what is happening now to our application, but maybe i'll try to consider change in processing times. hopefully by December we will be able to get our papers done.

thanks my dear friend, u remind me of an advertisement, "the more entries you send, the more chances of winning". lol. anyway, i don't know if it is a good thing to re-apply, i say it will always go to London VO, for sure. Ill check it from my consultant if that is recommended. have a nice day :)
