Hello group!

I am here on my PGWP for a year which is expiring Aug 2011. I am currently employed and already got a positive LMO
for the extension of my WP. I do qualify for FSW or FSW (with AE).

EDucation : 17 years.
work Experience - 2.3 years (India)
8 months- till date (Canada).

IELTS-7.5

I am applying for my WP with LMO this week.. and planning to apply for my PR in the first week of June.

Do I need anything else for my PR application from my employer? I already have a positive HRDSC approval.

I really need this question to be answered. Please help.. Reply is appreciated.

Thanks..

Ashi

Ashi, you don't give enough info (experience doing what? NOC codes?). The answer is, no idea about FSW1 since we don't know your occupation/job experience, but you probably do qualify under FSW2 (arranged employment) and/or Canadian Experience Class (CEC). All your questions are very basic and are answered on the CIC website. Good luck!

My work experience is in IT/ Software - related to my education and I had submitted all the documents to Canadian Embassy in India while I applied for student visa..

My main concern : As FSW needs AE : but I have positive LMO : Do I need to get AE too... or LMO with a letter from employer stating its a permanent position and they will continue the employment with me once I get my Permanent resident status...

I want to clarify : LMO will replace the need of AE or nor ( both the documents are from HRDSC) and by the way I am also about to complete my one year of full time work by end of July...

Thanks!

LMO, WP and letter from the employer are enough. Read the Guide and it tells you what the requirements are for people currently working in Canada.
