It's been almost 8 months after AOR and the wait is getting tiring
Here my most recent update "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information." This was on Dec 12, 2017 after I sent additional required documents.
1) Please can you confirm what stage this is and the likely time i'll get the next update?
2) I went ahead to apply for a new job with better career prospects since I couldn't really plan around my PR anymore. The timing is difficult to predict now. This new job is completely different from the NOC code i applied with.
I am yet to get an offer letter for the new job however I've gone for medicals which is almost as good as being employed already. I am wondering, do I need to let CIC know about the new job when I get the offer letter? If yes, how do I go about this as there's no way to update my account anymore. Will this affect my application negatively considering it's a different NOC code?
