My classmate received 3 years pgwp after 1 year certification and rest students received only one year pgwp
Hows it possible

It will be good to speak to your classmate to understand what he did differently

He is good for 3 years, this happens now and then, some people have even suggested requesting 3 years in the application form even if you did 1 year program.
