I got my VISA today in the post.. Wohooo!! I am not going to be stuck here for winter and I am going to go home! Hurray

I hope everyone else gets their documents back with the VISA too.. Good luck y'all!

I got the same email from "re-cngny-immigration@international.gc.ca" . I submitted my application on Nov 15, and i am hoping them to send me my documents by Dec 17 as i have to travel around Dec 22. Will keep you updated as soon as i get docs back.

if it is beyond one month, you can try your luck by going to the consulate in person. I went there today and got my passport with visa stamped by 2:00 PM. I had submitted the application by mail on 12th Nov. I went there today and submitted a urgent processing form and got the passport in the afternoon.

I sent my visa on 20 Oct and i got it yesterday 14 Dec

I just got notification from USPS stating they are delivering my passport back today. Embassy in NY got it on Nov 16, and hopefully i would get my passport with Visa stamped today.

We sent our application Oct 30, they signed for it Nov 6.
We received an email on Monday Dec 10 that they would have them sent out hopefully by Dec 17, and we got the visa today at 5:00. It was issued Dec 11. We originally were planning for him to come for Thanksgiving (those were the dates he asked for) but that obviously did not work out.
For people who are still waiting, be patient! It's probably still on its way!
