But there is one glitch it increases the time for people who have USA Visa and plan to get their Visa stamped by travelling to Detroit. Right now it takes a few hours to get the visa counterfoil and COPR from Detroit Consulate (Personal Visit Only). And one more thing CPP-O is very slow in issuing Visa (for People applying within Canada) atleast the temporary Visas, Buffalo Visa Office was really fast in Processing Temporary Visas(for People applying within Canada) atleast, I don't know if this would be the same with Permanent Residence Visa as well.passingby said:it means that visas and COPRs will be issued directly by CPP-O. That eliminates overhead of interacting between CPP-O and visa offices abroad for issuing COPR ,thus speeds up a process.
It means you will mail your passport (if required) to Ottawa instead of Detroit, Seattle, etc...kushari said:Not understanding what that means to be honest. Does it mean they will print the PR visa and mail it to us instead of mailing your passport in?
