Good news for all applicants in Backlog

Hi all,

I just know and believe that things will begin to take shape from next month by his grace,am trying to say we will begin to feel the impact of the new rules with regard to old applicants .Prayers, we all need it at this point.Waiting for 5,6,7 years is not a child's play.It is our turn to jubilate and shine.

The minister has given a great thought for older applicants and average of 2,50,000 immigrants annually means those who applied in 2004 will probably be cleared first...........
At least this killing waiting time will be over.......

i have applied in June 2007 under SAP at CIC new delhi, will the new rules help expedite our cases. also if one applies under the new rules, how will he come to know beforehand that the cap is over.

Hi,

Yes it will help your case that is why they have put a limit on the number of applications so that they can clear the backlog, if CAP limit is over they will return your application, there is no other way to know when CAP limit is going to over.

The first turn is for 2004 applicants and so on.

As mentioned by the minister that first thing will be to clear backlog, my question is than why it is saying to contact in October (for Pakistani applicant only).

I went through canada gazette and there it was mentioned that there are a total of about 3 lac 10 thousand old applicant and 1,60,000 new applicant backlogs that they r going to clear and amongst the old backlog, they will clear the ones waiting the most and I believe there are hardly any 2003 applicants left. They will start with the 2004 applicants out of those 3,10,000 applications.

I think they will start 2004 and 2005 applicants simultaneously, than 2006 and 2007

I really admire you all that even though 5-6 years has passed by, your hope still there. I can only agree with you all that we must pray for the CIC authorities to put their hand on our files. I am from the NEW group (2009) and to be honest, I cannot imagine myself waiting that LONG.

Thanks,what can we at this time,nothing,but keep hope and faith alive.We have been praying for God's intervention and he sure heard our collective prayers.Perseverance is the word,we are getting closer by the day and i have no doubt ,it is so so so close.This i need for my kids and am willingly to wait rather than putting in another application.The patient dog they say, eat the fattest bone .We all have positive spirit and i want you to walk in the line/path.

guys need some clarification: here is the question;

if i have to apply again next year with a new app and can complete all new requirements before june, send the app on 26th June which should reach CIO on 1st or 2nd july than would i be able to make into 1000/ cap for the each NOC and 20000/ total cap??????? is this the way one should try under the new rules?
