Seems like you're assuming a placement agency has to be involved to get a job offer as a foreign worker. Nothing could be further from the truth.

People get jobs and approved LMIAs without going through placement agencies all of the time. They do this by applying to roles with companies directly. If the company has found the role to be difficult to fill from the Canadian talent pool, there's always a chance the LMIA will be approved and they may be willing to go through the process.

Again, any placement agency asking for money in exchange for a job in Canada should not be trusted and is most likely a scam. Apply for jobs with companies directly.

No, no. I don't even want to have to deal with agents. Less bureaucracy, remember  It's just that I got tired of finding no options and seemed interesting at first.

I am saying that I would be interested to apply for almost any legal job. I am just asking if any type or field of work is well-known for always being difficult to fill.

For instance, I heard that hotel jobs are always hard to fill and always keep popping up. So, I got on a spree of directly applying to the hotels. But didn't even get a rejection e-mail. I assumed may be they thought I am a lunatic for having tried while not even being a PR.

Then somebody said farmers always need help in the rural areas, so I tried that. Turns out lots of farmers don't even have an e-mail address so..

Now the only options are either to send postal mails to show more commitment or just fly straight to Canada on a visit visa.
Sometimes, I wish it was as simple as in the 70s & 80s. Just hop on a ship and discover the Americas. An adventure by itself. Now the so-called developed, educated and evolved World has got paperwork.
