What are some good courses that have better chances of getting visa. I have read that chances of getting visa on a language course is very very slim. And that for Masters or Phd the chances are normally higher than average. I have done my GCE O levels, but have a three year gap in which i have been working online as a web programmer. Now i want to know what course would be good for me as I can take any route. One idea is that I take a 1 or 2 year diploma course in the IT field(web development related), and somehow convince the VO why studying it in canada would be way more beneficial to me and when i come back i can get way better career prospects as opposed to doing the diploma in my own country (but i think it would be hard to convince). Another is to study ESL and come back and teach English in my country (but i heard very slim chances of visa acceptance).

I am confused and am very much in need of your suggestions.

You need to give full detail of ur meeting other visa rquirements b4 member can offer better advice.

My profile :

Age: 21 years
Education: GCE O Levels - 5 subjects (Cambridge International Exams)
IELTS: 7.5 overall

Goal: Want to go to Canada to study.
Issue 1: Dont know which course to go for in accordance to my education/visa approval chances.
Issue 2: Have a gap of 3 years when i gave my GCE O levels and now during which i had been working in the web development field online to date (have an online profile at elance to prove this).

Thanks

You are good to go for IT diploma course in a college. But only if u have enough fund as required bcos u did not mention anything on fund. If you are accepted in any college then go for sp. Good luck

I have $25,000 in my bank account. I can show that as proof of funds. What other proof of fund can you show?

Also, if the VO asks why have you chosen to study IT in canada instead of doing this in your own country, what are good reasons you can give?

Thanks and Regards

OP is 10th pass with 3 years of gap, safe to assume school drop out. Don't you think profile is too weak.
