I applied to VFS Delhi on october 3,2012. File was recieved at chandigarh ( as i am from Punjab ) on october 5,2012.
On october 9 i saw the status as Passport dispatched to CHC New Delhi.I got visa approval letter by my consultant. Wud get passport in a week.

I also applied in VFS New Delhi on 3rd October personally (without consultant) under University. Requested for personal collection of passport. Still waiting. Is SPP visa issued faster than University? The wait is indeed so boring

I applied with loan letter. I was issued loan on 21 sep. the new rules were applied on 24th sep. So i applied with a loan of 9 lacs ( having being paid full one year fees ). Also my consultant asked me to include my dad's PF statement till date, which was around 20 lacs. So i guess it might have helped me.
