Going to Canada as a tourist after two refusals of my SOWP

Hey all,

I am in this complicated situation: my two applications for common-law partner's work permit were refused because of insufficient proof of our relationship. I am from a visa exempt country and I have a valid eTA. My question is: if I want just to visit my love and go to Canada for vacation for two or three weeks, is there any chance they will let me in to the country having in mind my two previous refusals for work permit? I have no intentions to stay illegally or work illegally as I know what consequences I may face, I don't want to risk my future. My genuine aim of the trip is just to travel and visit my love. Has anyone been in a similar situation or have any advice for me?

there would be no problem , you can visit
you think I won't look suspicious to the officers? I mean I really want just to visit my love and then come back to my home country, but at the same time I am scared they may not believe my story as I have two previous refusals of applications for work permits.

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
you have applied for spousal PR.
Now you wish to apply for visitor visa.
be straight forward in you application and declare your intentions.
if the VO sees somebody representing in a straightforward manner they may not have reasons to suspect.
anyway its worth a shot, what do you have to lose? a few more dollars, thats it.
tell them that you want to visit because you do not wish to lose your relationship due to it being a long distance relationship.
If you actually get refused the visitor visa you can use that refusal for you sponsorship application to demonstrate visa barrier existed for you and therefor you were not able to visit your partner. if they refuse once then apply again. you are actually creating proof that you were not able to visit.
I know you are subject to eTVA but anybody can apply for a visa.

I have not applied for a spousal PR because my partner is not Canadian, I applied for a common-law partner's open work permit that would be valid as long as his work permit is valid. Anyways, thank you for your thoughts.
