Hi,

Can someone please help me with this question?
Landing process completed. PR yet to come.
Can I go back to Canada with COPR by land?
Will that be fine?

Please reply. Thank you.

The pr card is a travel document. You don't need it if you have a visa exempt passport, you are free to go with you COPR and travel back and forth. If you are not visa exempt you need to either wait for your PR card or get a travel document assuming you meet the RO of 2 years in 5.

Hi davek1979,

Thank you for the reply. I am not sure what is meant by visa exempt passport.
I am just putting some more details.
I am travelling from usa. In the passport I see that I have a Canada visa which is one time entry.
I travelled once with automatic revalidation from usa to Canada and completed landing process.
I haven't yet received my PR yet.
But I have to go to Canada again.
Can I show my COPR document and travel by land? Please let me know.

Thanks

Sorry polara69. This time it is re-entry to Canada without a PR and with COPR.
Last time it was re-entry to usa with automatic revalidation.

Visa Except means you do not need a visitor visa to travel to Canada. Airlines will not let you on without either a visa exempt passport, or your passport and visa or PR card.
Can can always cross into Canada by non commercial means (bike, walk, private car) with your COPR and passport.
