i applied for mu husband’s sponsorship in sep. and now I’m planning to go back home in the end of nov,2018. I am a permanent resident, no a citizen yet( i have already applied for that). I am planning on going for 6 months. Will it effect my application? Am I allowed to live outside the country while application it yet in process?

You can stay maximum 2 weeks outside canada during the whole process untill ur husband don't get his spouse visa. Moreover u should inform to cic if ur going to back home cuz just in case if u stay for too long time outside canada and cic come to know abt it then it will be defo rejection so don't try to take risk.just keep patience now for one year lol n stay here lol.

You're allowed to travel outside of the country for a month or so as a PR because everyone is allowed to take vacations, of course. They know that people can get approved for longer than 2 weeks of vacation. Six months is pushing it way too much though.

Actually a 2-3 week vacation seems to be the safest. 1 month vacation is unusual for most Canadian jobs.

Yes, I agree that less time outside of Canada would be the safest still. I know several cases where they were out of the country for the timeframe I mentioned with no negative consequences whatsoever. Their PAs are already now approved. It would be better to stay outside less though during the application if possible. Don't take unnecessary risks.
