You have to have some kind of plan. Where will you go in Canada once he gets PR, how will you support yourself, etc. You can't just submit an application and not have any plans, they will deny you of course. Show them your plans on going there (Maybe a job waiting, or some family that will take you guys in as a means of housing / supporting you financially until you start working). I don't know, I don't have to go through this since I live in Canada.

I would still go through with the application once you can prove your intent to go to Canada / all the other proof they want. Economy wise, Canada is the right choice.

You have to try if you want to come. Its a long road we understand that. Some of us don't live with our husband, no we don't want to be apart either but we have no choice , so we plod along and hopefully we will get excepted and begin our new life here. You say you have a cousin in Canada , so get her or him to write you a letter stating that you are going to live with them until you find a job and get on your feet . Explain that you won't need to pay rent and they will support you for a while . You also said you had saving , state that in your explanation. What your husband intends to do work wise when he gets here , what you intend to do .

If you don't try you will always wonder. :)

Nobody has told you that without a job offer or family in Canada that you will be denied. You have been told repeatedly to come up with a viable PLAN. Tell CIC HOW you will support yourselves once your spouse is granted his visa. Develop a plan. Work out the logistics, think about what you will do if this and that should happen. As long as it is a solid plan, they will accept that, but if you just say, hey, I can't get a job because I'm here and I have no family, but I know what I'm going to do as soon as he gets the visa, you WILL be denied because that is NOT a good plan. You can't just tell them you'll 'wing' it.

I know I have personally given you ideas of how to 'explain' your situation. You have x skills, your husband has x skills, which translate into x skills in Canada and you plan to live x and the market for jobs in your fields are in high demand. You have looked in x areas for housing and found apartments cost about x per month and speaking to others that have recently immigrated to that area you have a general idea how much utilities and necessities will cost. You have x amount of $ saved which will provide us the necessities to live until we are able to obtain jobs, so on and so forth.

As long as you have a solid viable plan to give them, they are happy.

It is not going to be easy and you are putting way more stress on yourself than needed. If you don't want to put for the effort required to fill in the paperwork, then don't file it and remain where you are and it won't be an issue. But if you want the help, you are being given that help with every post you make. It is up to you to sort out the individual details, nobody is going to be able to do it for you.

Agree with the 2 senior members. You have to take some action and plan your future. Write it down and proof to CIC.

Regrading to your "fear" of being separated from your husband, I read a lot of posts on family class sponsorship, I have not encounter 1 single case that CIC request the sponsor to move to Canada first.

They will look at your plan and approve or reject your sponsorship (thus your husband's PR) but they will not request your to move alone.

Some people choose to move and wait in Canada first because they already live here or has a job in Canada. Or if they are PRs (not citizens), then the sponsor has to remain in Canada during the application of the sponsorship. That doesn't apply to you.

So you can choose to stay with your husband either in Canada or if the application is rejected, in Turkey.

No one said you will be rejected. People are just trying to emphasize to do as best as you can, gather as much proof as you can. You don't have to go to Canada alone, it was just an idea - another option that maybe you hadn't considered.

Generally, VO offices will ask for more documents before they reject you. So make the application as strong as you can, send it and see what happens.

You see that part in your quote that I put into BOLD lettering? That is the part you should focus on. OTHER: meaning something that is not the other items we listed here. Give us details of YOUR PLAN if you chose other and don't have the previous items to attach.

These things are give as a guideline not a hard and fast rule. They gave you ideas of what you could include but are not limited nor required to just send those particular items, hence the OTHER category

I think she won't consider going to Canada alone as an option at all and she is afraid of being forced to do so.

btw ninakap30, you gave us very little information on what qualification and work experience for both you and your Turkish husband to show ability to find a job in Canada. If you do, may be some member can help you to highlight your ability to establish your new life in Canada.

All we know is that you have some savings (good start, do some math and explain to CIC how long you can live on the savings. show them that you understand the cost of living in Canada) and you have no real connection.
