Hi everyone
I have been refused Canadian study permit twice, first purpose of visit...the program was not in line with my previous studies and where I presently work. I spoke to my HR at work and she changed my job told to the course I was going for, I reapplied and the refusal was based on purpose of visit again, current employment status, family ties and personal asset...at this point I’m confused, I don’t know if to reapply or let go

What kind of financial supports did you submit as well as home country ties? I am still waiting for my visa for about 6 weeks now and my uncle is the one who’s supporting me. I gave his bank statement and attached is letter of intent with notary by the attorney

Bank statement of about 20millon Naira in Nigerian currency of my dad, mine of 5000CAD, I work too
There shouldn’t be a problem with your financial stability. You mentioned that the degree you’re trying to take is not in lined with your work or degree you took up... what degree and program you applied for? And what’s your current work and degree?

The purpose of visit might have come from several factors of weak SOP, course mismatch/irrelevancy, or program type, future plans etc

The current employment situation might have be a result of you not submitting an employment letter, leave and leave approval letter, employment letter of introduction or reference letter, payslip etc

Family ties might be as per you not showing enough proof of family relationship like birth certificates or family heritance or properties etc that will prompt you to return back after your studies

Personal asset as to do with either you personal bank statement lacks sufficient funds and also relates to my second mentioned point

In all you can request for your gcms notes for a clearer insight about the VO concerns
