Hi Helen, Please let me know if you got any update on your Visa. I am also applying from USA under GTS, application was filed on July 22. No medical and police verification was required (as per attorney). I gave my biometric on July 23.

Hi @Vish_waiting , did you hear back on your application yet? I am on the same boat. Applied for GTS on July 16th. Completed my biometrics on July 28th. Haven't heard anything yet.

@Vish_waiting & @ash_pratap , in the same boat, applied for Work-permit GSS stream (usually 14 day processing time) on June 22 from USA, gave biometrics on July 21. Haven't heard anything yet.

Last week I heard about one GTS approval from Singapore. Nothing apart from him. I have heard of a few GSS applications getting approval in the last couple of weeks though. All ICT.

Ya, I also got my work-permit accepted, biometric validity letter and passport request yesterday. The following is my timeline

Application submitted (GSS): June 22, 2020
Biometrics given: July 21, 2020 (in USA)
Request to expedite processing: August 24 and I sent another request on September 10th
Acceptance: September 14, 2020
NOC: 4011

For GSS Work Permit, did you apply under "Foreign Worker" or "International Mobility Program"?
It seems like both options are dependent on citizenship, anybody has any insights if applying under one or the other will impact our GSS?
