Hi,
I'm currently in Canada, and my employer has applied for a GTS LMIA. I contacted them to inquire about the status, but they haven't received any updates from ESDC yet. It's been nearly a month since the application was filed. Could you tell me what the maximum time for LMIA approval is? Also, what would be a reasonable timeframe for approval?

There's no maximum. Generally speaking most people wait a number of months.

GST is 2 weeks. Strange you are to wait a long unless your employer didnt file the proper way....nevertheless, its 2 weeks on papre and end of day its ESDC's choice.

It is rarely if ever 2 weeks.

This is regarding the LMIA application, when we applied the processing time is 54 days and we crossed more than 75 business days.

1) Also my extension is still under process not really sure till how long it's going to be on hold.

So question is , is my extension will be hold right until lmia decision made ?

My employer sponsored my LMIA since June 2024, and it's being six months now with no news as to whether it has been approved or not. My study permit will expire next year March and I don't want to run out of status.

Do you advise I get a new program of study for Fall 2025 pending when I will have news about my LMIA? Which province do you advise I go to?

I had the intention of going to New Brunswick community college but with them halting their express entry stream for PNP, I am really confused as to what to do?

Why multi-posting? So your LMIA fits within GTS?
