Hi, I'm 22 years old, Filipina. My boyfriend and I are been in a relationship for 6years. but 2years ago, he and his parents moved to Canada as an immigrant. yes its been two years since he left Philippines but he visits me here every year together with his parents. now i want to visit him in Canada and for tourism as well for 3weeks only (January2010 or May 2010). my boyfriend and his parents are very supportive of me, they are willing to accommodate me during my stay and pay for my plane ticket. now im gathering requirements that will prove that I'm coming back here. We have a family business running for more than 10 years now. I have 4 sisters. 3 of my sisters and i are helping my parents on the business. Is it true that if i apply as a visitor there will be a slim chances that im going to be granted a visa since i have a boyfriend in Canada? honestly, i want to tell the embassy the truth that i have an immigrant boyfriend cause i want to be true to them. i believe nothing will put a bad signal if one is being true. but i just want an opinion too.. i also have a relative in canada they've been leaving there for more than 10years..anyways, this will be the documents that i will be sending...

my documents
-Passport (travelled to Hongkong and Macau Sept 2009)
-Certificate of Employment (notarized) , Payslip
-DTI/Business Permit
-6mos bank statement of the business/parent's
-my 6mos bank statement with CAD 3,500
-or/cr of 4 cars of my parents
-property of my parents : 2houses, condominium, farm
-my credit card bill, landline bill, and internet bill all under my name
-college diploma
-school certificate since im going back to school this June as a second courser
-letter that will indicate that my parents will be supporting me too (notarized)

boyfriend's document
-Copy of his passport
-copy of there immigrant card? i dont know the term they use
-Certificate of Employment and Payslip
-Invitation letter

as you can see, i dont have own property since im only 22, but im still single which that means in law, im dependent to my parent's properties that will make me entitled too. please help me.. i want to visit my boyfriend in canada..and to see beautiful places too...

many thanks. a reply will be gladly appreciated.

it depends totally on your visa office, if they decide to grand you visa or not. there's always a chance to get it.

your chances are quite good to have visa granted. will you mention in your application that you are visiting your boyfriend?

I cannot say for sure. You can always try - there are many people who were granted visa for visiting their loved once. Will you have both invitation letter from him and his family and a letter of support from then too?
it can help your application.
