Gift deed

Hi All,
I have unclaimed property in India and I wouls like to sign a gift deed to handover to my mother.

My family will send the document to me via embassy, however i am unsure on how to sign and send it back.

I understand i need to be physically available at embassy of Indian Unfortunately, I am in Halifax.

Please suggest, how can i send the gift deed back to india with my sign.

Seems to me you need to ask the Embassy, whether this can be done at a consulate or in front of a notary or some other service. Otherwise, go to the Embassy. Then have it sent by courier.

Are you aware if POA can be done at Ottawa location too?

I tried calling the high commission of India office but no luck.
