I am from Pakistan. I want to know does anybody here have got GIC from CIBC. Since I had to transfer my fund through international wire, I am not sure how much time will it take for my GIC. Its been 5 days already. Would really appreciate if someone can share his/her own experience.

Oh okay. And are intermediary bank charges deducted from my transfer payment or my own local bank account ? Since considering no processing fee, I transferred the exact amount.

Bro we have to pay 10,200 CAD. That’s it. There is no other charge. When you pay your gic that is total amount. You don’t have to pay anything except your gic amount and charge.

I opted CIBC bank which has no processing fee. So I transferred approximately 10000 CAD.
