Which bank did u apply Scotia or cibc ?

Scotia banks rejects gic even for small reason,So it's doutfull. Hope for the best now.
If it was cibc they would have fixed it if you had to email them and tell them there was mistake.

I cant suggest you as I am not sure about this some one who did gic via scotia bank might be able to help you better.
I did gic by cibc bank bcoz the address of my cousin was different on bank account than passport)
