Hi I applied for GIC on 26th of November and money got deducted from my Indian bank account on 28th November and I received a mail from Scotia bank on 3rd December stating that wire payment cannot be accepted due to the reason that "MY SCOTIA BANK ADDRESS AND THE PASSPORT ADDRESS DONT MATCH WITH EACH OTHER". I immediately called the customer care and that person suggested to change the address in Scotia bank itself with a mail requesting for change and attached it with my passport copy.
Please tell me whether this address change will help me to get my wire payment accepted immediately.. otherwise the payment if returned to India the process will take upto 15 days and my college will start on 7th January.

Kindly suggest me any help.

Hi,

My GIC wire transfer to Scotiabank is rejected due to address mismatch. I got rejection email on 29 July 2022. Its been 14 days but haven't received the amount.

Can anyone help? How much time does it take to get the amount back? Any email id or contact number where we can connect?
