Making GIC is foolishness better go for loan of $10k CAD

As you are already paying 1 year tution fees of 7 lack + making GIC of 5.5 lack comes to 12.5 lakh why one wanna invest such huge amount for PG certificate program now canadian govt started making money out of this GIC so their bank will have advantage seriously canadian are becoming selfish and not student friendly and soon it looks like they will no longer issue PR and work permit really they sucks big time!!!

GIC IS MUCH BETTER TWO REASON FOR THAT ACCORDING TO ME..
1. Canada will give more visa to GIC HOLDER to promote investment in canada and increase its profit. As similar to newzeland FTS. Result.
2. GIC IS PERFEERED OPTION SO U CAN THINK
LASTLY CANADA IS AS SELFFISH I THINK U R. U want to study there want to be canadian but does not want to pay money to them.@lion717.

Think from middle class student perspective if one wanna make GIC (s)he should have liquid cash of 13-14 lakhs i.e 7 lakh tution fee + 5.5 lakh GIC +1 Lakh for visa processing charges & airfare .

Dont you think its hard for middle class to gather and invest 13-14 lakh at a time.

Moreover canadian used to known for student friendly but no more with change of current rule they just want us to pay triple of tution fee that to all fee at a time which no country ask neither US,UK,AUS ask students to pay whole year fee before applying visa ( FYI canadian citizen only pay 1/3 of fee what we international students pay) + with this new stupid GIC system they wanna make their bank to earn more and more profit by taking our money ..

PS: Think twice before investing huge amount for pg certificate program as its not easy to find jobs with pg certficate and ongoing change of rules u never know they might stop giving work permit too just dont put your family in trouble or dont get bankrupt by taking huge loan

does it say u have to pay the fees or does it say its recommended? people r paying cause they think their chance are better if they pay the fees as they dont have to show other documents. i believe canada is still student friendly...they know people cannot pay fees when they get there so they want to stop those people who do not have required funds or cannot raise those funds from going to canada and then ruining their lives by doing odd jobs to get by, putting burden on canadan economy.

money and visa..
visa is first, so why are u discussing so much ,, if canadian govt is selfish ,give them wht they want ... so i think it is gud deal to get a visa by making gic.. ..its no use of crying over split milk.
