they are saying hign volume of applications..how is it possible, is the entire india moving to canada under SPP..lol..max to max they are receiving 20-25 applications(which i dont think so, too huge)..again not a big deal for any bank,as our indian banks open more than 100 accounts a day..
had it been an indian bank, it would have been much easier to handle this huge responsibilities..CHC should re-consider their decision to give this opportunity to scotiabank, they failed big time..lets do a candle march in front of CHC, delhi..so frustrated i am..

This is for all who are waiting for GIC certificate...Scotia bank is fooling around..i sent them my TT details on Studetgic @ scotiabank.com and they replied that they have not received my funds as of 15th july.I am really surprised how could they say it to everyone that they have not received the funds. I transferred my college fees with the same bank,which they received in 24 Hrs..and this stupid scotiabank have not received my funds..this is really crazy...i have written them a very rude mail..i dont care if they will not provide me the GIc now..because i have already given up for this sep Intake..
But the canadian embassy should think ten times before giving such a big responsibilities to a screwed bank like SCOTIA..they are playing with so many careers and money..because if i dont get the visa i will get only 75% refund from college..I am so F****d up...really sad.. Angry Angry Angry

I can understand your situation bro... One of my known faced the same problem and i called bank and forced them to issue the details at earliest as it was going to delay my friend's visa application. If you have somebody known here give them your details and they can talk on behalf of you. i pray you all guys get your details asap ... Wish you all guys good luck for your visa application

Even i am stuck with this GIC.....they are simply not replying both for account details/GIC certificate. Following with them from last 1 month. somehow i received the account details but that to scotia bank has not sent it, i sent one of my relative who is present there.

Has anybody applied without GIC certificate or just with acknowledgement copy of wire transfer and if yes..what is the status of visa application?

Is there a way we can actually put our words to remove this GIC certificate thing and either accept the receipt of fund transfer or educational loan receipt for the security deposit.

If Scotia doesn't give us GIC certificate, does that mean, our visa will not get considered at all... because this mistake is not done from our end. My career is on stake and i have already resigned from my job...i will be nowhere if this doesn't work out...

Really need help :'( :'(

Hi.

I've recvd my GIC a/c details on 25th July and missed the deadline to transfer funds by 26th. Can I apply for visa with TT copy...?

I'm filing my file under generic category and my agent has asked to show only form16 of my parents and self + 10000 GIC TT copy + 1 yr tution fee. Will this be suffiient..?Pls advise. Its urgent as I've to transfer funds tomrw for GIC and file for visa sept'13 intake on tuesday.

Kindly help.
